Zincirli Han
When you get inside the Grand Bazaar from Gate 1 ( Nuruosmaniye ) make the second right and walk till the end of street. You will see the Zincirli Han on your right hand side. It was used as a guest house for traders and a resting point next to Grand Bazaar. Today there are workshops still using this Han as a gold,silver and diamond producing place.

Bulgarian Church
It's also called as " Iron Church " as it was made with iron. Iron materials were produced in Austria and transfered to Istanbul with cargo ships and assembled it's location in Balat. Balat is the disctrict where the Christians and Jewish communities were used to live mainly. When you walk around in Balat, you will see old Synagogues and Orthodox Churches .

Million Stone
All the roads go to Rome! Million Stone was accepted as the center of the world and was erected by Constantine the Great. It was the starting point of the roads in Rome and used to calculate the distance of the other cities to Istanbul. For example Moscow 1757 km, Berlin 1740 km, Amsterdam 2214 km away from this stone.

Chora Church
Chora means outside of the city. Yes! Chora is located in Topkapi district near ancient city walls. It's a little away from center of Istanbul. It's used as a church and mosque but today it has the most beautiful examples of Roman mosaics and freskos. Most of them are well protected and restoreted by Ministry of Culture & Tourism. You should get a Turkish Coffe on courtyard.

SoÄŸukçeÅŸme Sokağı
Chora means outside of the city. Yes! Chora is located in Topkapi district near ancient city walls. It's a little away from center of Istanbul. CaferaÄŸa Medresesi
Madrasah was such a instituion of higher education center in Ottoman Empire. This highest and important education were given inside the Topkapi Palace / Enderun but in all part of Ottoman Empire there were private Madrasahs as well like CaferaÄŸa Madrasah. CaferaÄŸa was a scholar who educated many childs in Topkapi Palace and opened his own school as privately. Today here is used as a culture center and cafe.

NakkaÅŸ Cistern
Underground of old city was connected with those tunnels and water pipes. It's almost possible to move from one to onether. Cisterns were used to supply water to inhabitans and Roman Palace. This one is located under a carpet shop which was protected with a special arthitectural technique so the building on the cistern was built on metal platform and it's not giving any damage to ancient cistern from outdoor.
